Складова конкурентоспроможності галузі формується із застосуванням комплексного та функціонального наукових підходів та визначає сутність категорії конкурентоспроможність галузі як раціонального використання наявних та залучених ресурсів, використання сучасних методів та технологій управління розвитком, підвищення рівня виробничо-технологічної бази за рахунок активного розвитку та промислового впровадження інновацій та загального підвищення рівня освіти, науки, та ресурсів управлінського менеджменту в країні, що визначає перехід від ресурсоємкості галузей до їх наукоємкості.
